The Texas Gypsies are on the Texas Commission on the Arts Touring Artist Roster. If you are a City Government or Non Profit Organization you are eligible to apply for a grant to award you up to 50% of the performance fee!

For over 20 years, The Texas Gypsies have been serving up a musical gumbo packed with swing, swagger, and vintage cool. Blending the jazzy rhythms of the 1920s Great Gatsby era with the sparkle and sophistication of 1930s and ’40s Big Band swing, the band adds a hearty helping of Texas Western Swing, a splash of Django-style Gypsy Jazz, and a dash of retro rock ’n’ roll — along with timeless Hit songs!
Featuring soaring violin, a smoking horn section, swingin’ guitars, slappin’ upright bass, and old-school drumming, The Texas Gypsies create a sound that’s bold, stylish, and impossible to sit still to — a classy, toe-tappin’, dance-floor-filling good time that brings vintage American jazz and swing music to life for modern audiences.
Since 2004, The Texas Gypsies have entertained thousands of audiences worldwide with an energetic, vintage-inspired live music experience blending jazz, swing, Western swing, New Orleans jazz and classic American popular music. Known for their polished musicianship and engaging stage presence, the band performs at concerts, festivals, corporate events, weddings, private parties, and performing arts venues across the United States and internationally.
The Texas Gypsies offer versatile performance options ranging from full-scale concert productions to smaller ensembles ideal for fundraisers, corporate functions, and private celebrations. Their authentic themed performances make them a premier choice for Great Gatsby parties, Roaring ’20s speakeasy events, WWII-era Big Band shows, vintage jazz celebrations, and Texas or Western-themed events.

The band is versatile in the music styles they are able to perform from American Jazz to Parisian Swing, Big Band Swing and New Orleans Style Jazz and even Pop songs! They can vary the size of the group performing from a solo musician, intimate trio, to a Big Band with horn section, violin, singers and more! We can even provide swing dancers to dance at our show and teach your guests to swing dance.
