The Texas Gypsies are a collective of seasoned, world-class musicians, including Grammy winners and top professionals who have backed many of today’s leading jazz, swing, and pop artists. Collectively, members have performed with The Blues Brothers, The Jacksons, Paul McCartney & Wings, Ray Charles, Ella Fitzgerald, The Texas Playboys, Wynton Marsalis, Ray Price, Tony Bennett, and more.

Renowned for their distinctive approach to classic jazz and swing, the band spans styles from the 1920s Gatsby-era jazz through the big band sound of the 1940s made famous by Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. Their repertoire also includes Parisian swing and Gypsy Jazz in the tradition of Django Reinhardt, as well as Western and Texas Swing inspired by Bob Wills. With roots in New Orleans, the band authentically delivers Bourbon Street jazz and Mardi Gras favorites.

Equally versatile, The Texas Gypsies perform classic rock, pop, and dance music—featuring a dynamic female vocalist when desired. The band also writes and performs original music, much of which has been featured in film and television. This award-winning “Retro-Eclectic” ensemble is known for its elegance, energy, and versatility—making it a perfect fit for any event.
